Fellman's Motel is currently owned and operated by Clyde and Lori Phipps who purchased the motel in 1996 from Lori's parents.  Clyde and Lori have lived the majority of their lives in Jordan and enjoy raising their three children, Shanae, Shavon, and Brem, there. 

The motel was originally built by Jake Fellman in the early 1900s as tourist cabins for the use of travelers and country folks needing a place to stay while in town.  Seven of the cabins were modernized in 1962 to include indoor plumbing, air conditioning, and TVs.  An additional eight units were added in 1964. 

Phil, Ethel, and Dale Fellman purchased the business in 1963 after Jake passed away.  Then Dale and Jeannie bought out Phil and Ethel in 1979.  The motel stayed in their hands until Clyde and Lori bought it on April 1, 1996.  Clyde and Lori have put a lot of work into remodeling and improving the look and feel of the motel.
